Aimee Allison, Founder, and CEO of She the People, the national network to propel women of color as drivers to recapture our democracy through an inclusive, multiracial coalition to secure a  progressive future for generations to come. Aimee is one of the primary architects for the success that resulted in the 'year of women of color in politics’ in 2018. She hosted the nation's first summit to elevate the political voice of women of color and to show that social justice can, in fact, become the law of the land. A thought leader speaker, writer, Allison's podcast, Democracy in Color, features congressional leaders, activists, and exciting next generation candidates. Aimee Allison was one of the first women of color to be honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a conscientious objector and works today to support courageous, moral leadership. She has been published in the New York Times, The Hill, Essence Magazine and is online as @aimeeallison.
